How Much is an Arm Lift?
Surgeons in different locations will have different pricing for their procedures. In addition, more experienced surgeons with an excellent reputation may charge more. How is an Arm Lift Performed?
At Longwood Plastic Surgery, we perform brachioplasty under general anesthesia in our sterile, state-of-the-art surgical suite. Surgery typically takes one to three hours, and most people go home the same day. In some cases, and particularly for people who have lost a large amount of weight, an arm lift is part of a more extensive skin removal surgery.
During an arm lift, your surgeon makes an incision under the arm and uses this to lift and remove excess, sagging fat and skin. After raising and tightening the skin, the surgeon uses a careful suturing technique to leave a minimally visible scar. Your surgeon will choose an incision that addresses your concerns while minimizing scars and recovery time.
