When administered correctly, Kybella® prepares fat cells in the chin for natural metabolization and helps to keep them off. Once removed, cells cannot retain or absorb fat after they are broken down.

If you are looking to rid yourself of a double chin but want to avoid surgery, Kybella® may be right for you. Kybella® is super-effective and long-lasting. How Long Does A Typical Treatment Take?
Your specialist will be able to determine the duration and intensity of treatments based on your chin profile. Some patients have seen the desired results after 2 treatments, but typical desired results can take up to 6 treatments that are spaced out a month apart. Once results are achieved, retreatments and touch-ups are not necessary or needed.
What Results Will I See?*
Desired results are tailored to each patient, but results include less-pronounced submental fullness and in some cases complete removal of a double chin altogether. Patients can expect a more contoured, chiseled jawline. Once the desired aesthetic is reached, patients can expect long-lasting results with no further treatment necessary. Typical side effects include swelling, bruising, pain, numbness and redness and will likely subside after 48 hours. Is There Any Downtime?
Because Kybella® is injected, recovery is minimal. Patients can expect to experience very little downtime, but the amount varies from person to person and may vary based on the severity of the treatment. It is advised for patients to avoid strenuous activity and alcohol for 24 hours after each treatment. While downtime can be very short, your injector specialist will provide you with an individualized aftercare regime.
