Lines and wrinkles, uneven texture, and hyperpigmentation can combine to make you look older than you feel. Non-surgical facial rejuvenation treatments can restore smooth, youthful skin. These facial treatments target different skin concerns to help you achieve your goals.

What are Non-Surgical Facial Rejuvenation Treatments?

At Longwood Plastic Surgery, our non-surgical facial rejuvenation treatments include injectables and skin rejuvenation. Many people benefit from a combination of these since each does something different. All our non-surgical treatments require little to no downtime and will not leave scars like a surgical procedure. Unlike surgical procedures, the results of these facial treatments are temporary.

Top Five Non-Surgical Facial Rejuvenation Treatments?

We offer a range of injectable treatments and skin rejuvenation methods that let us customize a plan for you. Your LPS team will consider your unique skin goals and determine the best way to achieve them.

Botox® and Other Neurotoxins

Botox®, Xeomin®, and Jeuveau® are injectable wrinkle treatments. They all use botulinum toxin, a neurotoxin that works by stopping targeted facial muscles from contracting. These treatments work on expression lines, including crow’s feet, horizontal forehead lines, and vertical lines between the brows.

Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers like Juvederm® and Sculptra® can smooth wrinkles and restore lost volume. These multi-purpose tools come in a range of formulas for use in the cheeks, around the mouth, and to enhance the lips. Dermal fillers can also restore definition to the jawline and smooth other lines and wrinkles.

Liquid Facelift

A liquid facelift combines Botox® and dermal fillers to sculpt and lift your features. While it does not offer the results of a surgical facelift, it can give you a more youthful, defined appearance. Each liquid facelift is a customized procedure to address your facial anatomy and areas of concern.

Microneedling

Microneedling creates tiny channels in the skin that trigger collagen production. These channels in the skin stimulate surrounding cells to activate repair and healing mechanisms, speeding up cell turnover and firming the skin. You can see improved skin texture and tone with a series of treatments.

Chemical Peels

A chemical peel is a highly customizable treatment that addresses many skin concerns. Depending on your needs, we offer peels that smooth, brighten, and fight signs of aging. Chemical peels offer powerful rejuvenation and a healthy glow, and you can choose the intensity and results of your treatment.

Is There Any Downtime With Facial Rejuvenation Treatments?

These non-surgical treatments require little to no downtime. Injectables may cause minor redness or swelling that can last up to a few days. After microneedling, most people experience some redness and sensitivity, but these will also fade within a day or two. Chemical peels range from no downtime to a few days of redness and minor flaking.
